These terms apply to the KarValu website and software. KarValu LLC (“KarValu”, “we”, “us”) is an Ohio limited liability company located at 5017 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, OH 45227.
1. What we provide
KarValu sells month-to-month subscriptions to online software for independent auto appraisers. The software gathers vehicle and market information and generates reports for the appraiser to review.
Important disclaimer. KarValu LLC is a technology-based information gathering and report generation platform only. KarValu LLC does not perform, conduct, certify, or guarantee any vehicle appraisal. All final appraisal conclusions, comparable vehicle selections, condition assessments, and value determinations contained in any report generated through the KarValu platform are solely the independent professional opinion of the named licensed appraiser who conducted the physical inspection and applied their signature and certification to the report. KarValu LLC assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness, or use of any information contained in platform-generated reports. No report generated through the KarValu platform is valid without the review, approval, and certification of the named appraiser.
2. Prices and billing
- Plans have a one-time setup fee and a monthly fee, shown on our pricing. All prices are in US dollars (USD).
- All plans are month to month. No long-term contract is required.
- Monthly subscription fees are billed at the beginning of each month.
- Usage fees (VIN checks at $19 per check and report generation at $65 per report) are charged to the credit card on file at the time of use.
- You authorize us to charge your card on file for these amounts.
- If a payment fails, access may be paused until it is paid.
- KarValu LLC may update pricing with 30 days written notice.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime by calling or texting (513) 549-1019, or by emailing support@karvalu.com. Your plan stays active until the end of the month already billed. You will not be charged a monthly fee again after that.
4. Refunds and billing disputes
- Setup fees are one-time and non-refundable, regardless of cancellation date.
- Monthly fees are billed in advance and are not refunded for unused days.
- VIN checks and report generation fees are not refundable once used.
- If we charged you by mistake, we refund it in full to your original payment method.
- If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first so we can fix it.
5. Acceptable use
Your account is for you and your business. Do not share your login, resell access, copy the software's methods, scrape data, or use it to build a competing product. Subscribers also sign a Subscriber Agreement. If it differs from these terms, the Subscriber Agreement applies.
6. Your data
You own the information you enter. After you cancel, we keep it for 30 days so you can export it, then delete it. See our Privacy Policy.
7. Our property
The KarValu software, methods, design and brand belong to KarValu LLC.
8. No warranty and limit of liability
The software is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, KarValu is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Disputes are handled in the state or federal courts in Hamilton County, Ohio.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We give subscribers at least 14 days' notice of material changes.
